New choker

I was looking for things because, I had no idea what I wanted to do today. Then I remember, I can really make a belt from men's tie. But I needed two ties which can be some what matching in color and design. My hubby don't use tie bow. So the old ties I kept were fine to use. But the problem is I can't find the two that I needed. Then this black silk one jumped to me begging to get something done.

That is what I exactly did today. I cut the narrow end to fit around my beck.

I cut it in an angular way so I can make the ends look similar. To prevent the cut end from fraying I just stitched it with black thread.

Then all I did was adding some sequins and beads. Then to get that extra punch, I added a rose flower, which happened to be in my craft box. Want to see the finished look? Here it is!!!

I loved the new choker. The design and the dress. And I was actually astonished by seeing that how you could make your belt a tie. I would try to carry out as you have said. Let me see if my belt becomes a TIE.
