I was just making more things. The mood was for crochet. I didn't make any jewelry at all.
The days are like cold and colder...The yarn is very comforting. May be I can blame myself for not having a nice craft table for not making anything using beads and wire. It was snowing...some days it is not snowing. I love to walk when in the snow when the wind is not blowing.
I made few hats, and scarves. I did few experiments to make the crocheted hat more warmer.
I was making a black and white hat in double crochet. I got this sudden urge to make post stitches to see how it will turn out. So, I did a row of post stitches in white. It just stands out against the black background. I just continued crocheting on the black stitches, ignoring the white. So there is a belt of white standing out.

Can you see the clear difference between the first and second white stripes? I took the picture to show the beginning of the post stitches.
I guess, I can add a single crochet or slip stich row of white to give the hat a finished look.
The next is just a scarf and hat set. The multi color yarn turned out very nice with the double crochet stitches I used. I am happy with the finished project.

That is the scarf. I used a daisy stitch mentioned in the book, "Super finishing Techniques for Crocheters" by Betty Barden. The scarf turned out to be very cute with the stitch. It is not a beginner project though.
Here comes the matching hat.

I made few cards also. They are not that great to show off. But still, I want to include one picture too in this blog. The form shapes were not die cut. i cut them using my scissors. The felt ones are just store bought. I just paste them like kids do.

I will add the threads to the balloons, I think.
